Colourpop & Kylie Cosmetics haul

Disclaimer: Don’t take my word for any of it as i’m no beauty guru.

I’ll be honest, i’m a makeup noob. The only cosmetic that I ever use on a regular basis is an eyebrow pencil. While i do apply concealers, lip tints, eyeliner, mascara, contours and highlighters, it is extremely rare. My knowledge of makeup is horribly limited; the only makeup tool that i own are my fingers and i can’t even tell whether my skin tone is cool, neutral or warm. But somehow or rather, i have managed to hoard a bunch of lipsticks that i don’t even use over the past one year.

Anyhoo, i was only intending to get the shadows and the ultra satin lip in Dohee from the JennNeSaisQuoi collection as Colourpop was going to discontinue it, but i lost all control when i started browsing their site. Also, since I was shipping Colourpop cosmetics through ShopandBox, might as well get my hands on some Kylie Cosmetics too.

Eye candy #2

Morocco has been on my to-visit list for a while now. The beautiful Moroccan tiles, the vibrant markets and dreamy villages (Chefchaouen especially) are the main reasons for it being on my travel wishlist. Also, the landscapes are incredibly photogenic.

Native’s music video showcased Morocco beautifully. The video’s description talked about how rhythm brings everyone together and how the locals were so welcoming towards them. And seeing how thoroughly they fell in love with the country makes me want to visit her even more!

Visuals aside, they have a pretty sick song. It makes me feel like i can take on the world, buy a plane ticket and fly to Morocco right now, climb a mountain, or just do something epic in general. It’s a real fun song with tribal influences and it’s been on repeat the entire day. Definitely a strong favourite at the moment.

Eye candy #1

Stumbled upon this music video from the recommended page on youtube (how original haha) and it’s a feast for the visual and auditory senses. Monsieur L’agent reminds me of Wes Anderson’s works; the muted colours and whimsicalness of it is pretty similar.

And the location is absolutely stunning! Did a quick google search and found out more about the building that the video was filmed at and i am obsessed with it.
